Nestled below Curbar & Baslow Edge, The View truly lives up to the name. A tranquil and picturesque setting surrounds you, with fantastic walking and cycling opportunities all from your door step. A personal favourite is visiting the highland cattle which graze atop the edges. Probably best to arrive by car, as the view is 350ft up off the valley floor but once here, everything the Peak District National Park is so rightly famous for is on the doorstep. Famous attractions within a 10 minute drive include Chatsworth House. Haddon Hall, the Plague village of Eyam, the lovely market town of Bakewell & the Monsal Trail ( great for a bike ride along). The local area is famous for the great outdoors where cycle routes, walking trails and climbing abound. The nearest bus stop is 5 minutes walk down the hill and the nearest station is 3 miles away at Grindleford. Sorry we do not accept pets of any kind. The farmers field right next door may have sheep grazing in it at certain times of the year. Please note that our space whilst lovely, is not suited to young children.
