Chestnut Cottage is a fully detached self contained bungalow. The main kitchen and living area is a light and fresh open plan space with a side door for entry and French doors opening on to your own private courtyard garden which is south facing. The kitchen has a full size oven and ample space and units a fridge freezer and microwave Ideal for walkers, cyclist and sightseers alike the bungalow is in the village of East Bergholt a short walk from the centre of the village and Flatford Mill made famous by the paintings of John Constable RA. You have access to the whole Cottage and Private Garden The charming village of East Bergholt is a popular, friendly village with a small village shop, chemist, bakery and three local pubs. The cottage is on a main bus route to Ipswich and Colchester towns. Manningtree train station is but a short taxi ride away, for keen walkers a footpath also leads from the station to us, via Flatford. The bedroom has a king size bed that can be spilt into two singles. There is an ensuite shower room off the bedroom. The living area has a sofa which can be used as a small double bed.
