Spacious 12 bed family house in a quiet location with heated 10x5m pool

Our open plan, villa style 280m2 house with a 10 x 5 m heated pool in Saint Xandre is perfect to visit La Rochelle, pop to the out of town shopping centre, visit Ile de Re and the surrounding region. Ground floor: Living room 65 m², kitchen (25 m²), back kitchen (washing machine and tumble drier), entrance, 5 bedrooms (18x4 + 1 x 25 m²) and 1 bathroom :bath and shower, 1 ensuite shower room, with a toilet and 2 separate toilets. Upstairs: 1 bedroom with a shower room and a toilet. The heated pool has a wide second step so when its really hot you can cool down sitting in the water up to your chest. It has a 1.25m depth all around the edge so younger children can feel safe. It was specifically built when our youngest child was 5 with the edge for safety reasons. It is also lit up at night along with the outside patio area. The pool security cover can only be opened with a key and must be kept in the open or closed position, it will not auto close to make sure the individual is watching in case somebody sneaks into it! Don't forget to unclip and clip the security clips (these make sure the cover can hold the weight of an adult should they fall). There are additionally solar security movement lighting at the entrance, along the driveway and at the house. In the garden if the fruit trees are bearing fruit, please pick them. We have a mirabelle (green plum), pear, apple (apricot, cheery and fig but doubt they will bear as only planted last year). In the beds to the west there is a grapevine, kiwi vine, strawberries, raspberries and red currents (planted in 2018). Please pick when ready - we just ask if you pick them please then water them :) The kids have planted carrots, tomatoes, butternut, yellow courgettes, lettuce and a random melon (don't ask)! If they remember to water them you may get lucky:) The house is 900m from the local town Saint Xandre in a little farming hamlet. You can use one of the bicycles to go and buy your fresh bread on the cycle path. The cleaning fee includes linen and end-of-week cleaning and one change per week for several weeks. The house is only available for 7 night stays from Saturdays.
