Staandakkie Guest Cottage

Staandakkie Guest Cottage is a charming self-catering farm cottage, just 15 km from Bredasdorp The cottage is separate from the main farm homestead, but is close enough for interaction with the friendly hosts should guests need it. The fully equipped cottage can accommodate up to 2 guests and comprises 1 bedroom (double bed - linen and towels included), 1 en-suite bathroom and a kitchenette. Outside braai with patio chairs. Lovely bike rides and walks. The bird life is prolific. Ideal for a couple who would like to breakaway from the rut of the city life and be part of a farm environment. Cottage lies on a working farm (15 km to farm from Bredasdorp off the De Hoop Nature reserve road). The cottage consists of an double bedroom which has an en suite bathroom, kitchenette and dining room table with two chairs. The bathroom contains a shower. All towels included. The kitchenette is equipped with a stove, mini-fridge, microwave, kettle, cutlery and crockery. Starter coffee, tea, sugar, milk, and rusks are provided. Cottage also has its own private entrance and braai area (patio chairs, wood, and grid provided). You are 35 km from closest beach, Arniston, an 55 km away from the Southern most tip of Africa. Cottage lies 40 km away from the De Hoop Nature Reserve and off the De Hoop Nature Reserve road. Guest cottage has all its own facilities. I am available to guests at all times. Large surrounding farm landscapes. All the farm roads are public, so you can walk to your delight. There is a mountain bike route. To get to the farm you will have to drove +/- 7 km gravel road (of medium terrain). Guests are able to get to cottage with a small car. -
