The Tank House, formerly a water tower for the farm, is a recently converted, cosy bolt-hole for 2 (plus camp beds). Completely secluded and private. Situated in the middle of a field above the pretty village of Nether Wallop. Gloriously romantic peaceful seclusion awaits! Ideally situated for Winchester, Stockbridge and Salisbury. Fishing, walking, exploring, foodie destinations, history, culture in all directions! Guests will be able to use the entire property and with prior permission may be able to ride and possibly walk over the farm. With prior notice we can set up two camp beds and also a travel cot if needed. Highchair etc can be made available for guests' use. Details of how to gain entry to the property will be given upon booking. The owner will be available if the guest requires it, but otherwise your stay will be uninterrupted. Come and go as you please. Nether Wallop is in a valley surrounded by chalk downland with the Wallop brook running the length of the village. Brick and flint thatched cottages abound. The towns of Winchester and Salisbury are within half an hour and the popular village of Stockbridge is only ten minutes down the road. Village shop in Nether Wallop. Very good selection of supermarkets in Andover (10 minutes). Coast and New Forest within an hour. Good train connections from Andover (10 minutes) or Grately (7 minutes). Taxis regularly available at Andover. Bus station in the centre of Andover and buses to the village on a daily basis. You will be best off with a car though, but there are also good cycle routes at hand and beautiful walking. Parking is right next to the Tank House, outside. The drive is a little bumpy so not suitable for very low-slung vehicles. The house is on private land but is on its own a few hundred yards away from the village lane and within walking distance of the village.
