Relax in the big armchair, overlooking the river, and watch for hummingbirds at your window. Walk outside and sit on the dock to see the abundant life in the Withlacoochee River. Boat along the river to the Gulf of Mexico, watching for roseate spoonbills, dolphin, and manatee on your way, then dock your boat right on our sea wall. One bedroom, one bath. Pull-out couch in the front living room. Kitchen is fully equipped. Narrow pantry with sleeping cot. Back living room with view of the river. Pick up the keys and you are on your own. Details about key pickup will be available after booking. Riverside Drive is a quiet, shady road, perfect for a leisurely stroll or brisk walk. There's a boat ramp about 1/4 mile down the road from the house (next to the Coast Guard station). Just a little farther down is Blackwater Restaurant, offering casual dining with a beautiful view of the river. Other restaurants and a grocery store are a bike ride or 5-minute drive away. There is a small playground on Riverside Drive next to the fire station (across from Blackwater) and a larger playground on the main road (40) by Inglis Town Hall. Bring your kayaks, paddleboards, bikes, and fishing poles. This spot is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds!
