Having undergone renovation to an excellent standard in 2015, it has also been re decorated to maintain this standard in 2020. It is fully furnished and equipped, self contained, quiet and private. This first floor space is very unique. It suits people working away from home on a Monday to Friday basis, whilst also offering a peaceful haven for guests wanting a weekend away. Many guests have used us as a convenient base whilst they visit the NEC. It is also an excellent base to holiday from, exploring the diversity the surrounding area has to offer. Having your own transport is recommended. Guests have exclusive, private use of The Upper Mews. Martin and I live next door with our two sons and well behaved dog. We work close to home so normally there will be someone on hand to ask should you require any assistance or recommendations during your stay with us. Equally we will not be offended if you wish to remain private. Local shops, Deli, Surgery, Chemist, pubs, Italian Restaurant, cafes and various takeaways all within 5 minute drive, 20 minute walk. Larger superstores inc Marks and Spencer, Sainsburys and Boots are 10 minute drive or 5 minute train journey. Three Golf courses, Blackwell (private) and Lickey Hills (municipal) 5 min drive. Bromsgrove Club 10 Minute drive. Surrounded by Lickey, Clent, Wasley and Malvern Hills. Lickey Hills Coutry park is just a 20 minute walk away. Birmingham City Centre 20 min train ride inc Cadbury World, Hippodrome Theatre, Alexandra Theatre, Symphony Hall, Barclay Card Arena, Botanical Gardens, various Art galleries, Museums and shopping. National Trust properties inc Hanbury Hall, Coughton Court, Greyfriars, Packwood House Birmingham back to backs to name just a few. Conveniently situated for a trip to Shakespeare Country, Stratford and Warwick Castle. (30 min drive) 'Peaky Blinders' West Midlands and the Black Country including the Black Country Museum, Safari Park and Dudley Zoo and Castle. (30 min drive) David Lloyd Gym 10 min drive. 2 Park runs within 30min drive. The list is endless! Having your own car is recommended and there is access to free private parking on site. Motorway (M42, M40, M5, M6 corridor) Rail Local Barnt Green Station 20 min walk/5 min drive. Birmingham Grand Central 20 min train journey. Birmingham International Airport and the NEC 30 min drive. Highly recommend a cab company that we use. The Upper Mews is not connected to the mains sewerage. We have a Bio Disc. Only toilet paper or tissue should be flushed down the toilet.
