Chequer Barn Apartment

An oak framed loft apartment is above a large garage which is accessed by stairs with a balcony for tree level seating. The space is not attached to our house and has separate access. The pitched roof gives the apartment a feeling of space and light, with underfloor heating. The outside space is ideal if you want some fresh air. We are in a rural location. We would welcome all visitors. I am afraid we do not accept dogs here. We have dogs ourselves and love them, but having hens and sheep I have to consider their welfare too. We have allocated a parking space for guests. There is a private balcony among the trees which looks across fields. Check in is after 5pm. Have as much or as little interaction with us as you want. I am happy to tell you about the area of Nidderdale and local walks and attractions. Located 4 miles from Masham and 4 miles from Ripon, 2 miles from Kirkby Malzeard and 2 miles from Grewelthorpe all with Pubs and other amenities although there are no pubs in walking distance. Details are available for a reliable taxi. You will need a car if you come to stay as we are not on a bus route, excellent cycling area for both road and mountain bike. The apartment is not suitable for guests with children. There is no microwave or freezer in the apartment, sorry.
