Only 1 mile from Tring station. Trains run 3 times an hour, direct to Euston in 40 minutes. Perfectly situated for Tring Park School, Tring Natural History Museum, Ashridge Estate, the Ridgeway, Harry Potter, Whipsnade Zoo, the Chilterns. Own entrance and off-road parking. Private patio. Drink facilities, including Nespresso machine. Fridge. Additional single bed is available. Your host will be available throughout your stay and, with notice, can offer lifts to and from Tring station for easy access to London Euston. Tring is a beautiful market town with a great community and lots going on. To name a few local attractions, Tring Park, Tring Natural History Museum, Chilfest, Tringe Comedy Festival, Pendley Shakespeare Festival, the Ridgeway Run, Tring Book Festival, Whipsnade Zoo, Wendover Woods, Dunstable Downs, the Chilterns, Court Theatre, Tring Brewery, Berkofest, the Rex independent cinema, Graham Greene Festival... and it is ideally situated for walking, or indeed running, parts of the Ridgeway. There are also lots of stunning cycling routes - and Tring Parkrun is a 5-minute walk. Tring offers easy access to the A41 and M25. London Euston is a 40-min train journey (the train stops at Harry Potter studios). And there are direct trains to Milton Keynes and Birmingham. East Lodge Annex is a 5-minute walk to Tring town centre. Tring park is also within walking distance and offers exceptional walks with stunning views. There isn’t a cooking area in the Annex but a microwave, mini-oven, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine and aeroccino are supplied for guests’ convenience, plus tea and coffee, milk, cereal, bread and butter. There are a number of delightful eateries, plus a Marks and Spencer food hall, within walking distance of the Annex. An iron can be provided on request. And do enquire about an infant’s cot, if required.
