The Mews, Smithy Ridge Farm. Yorkshire.

Above a converted stable, a very comfortable two bedroom mews that can sleep 5 (it has a double sofa bed in the lounge). Literally next to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and very close to Cannon Hall Farm, star of the Channel 5 show. Close by the M1, offering quick and easy access to every part of Yorkshire from this central base Well behaved dogs welcome. A very safe place for children with extensive countryside walking from your front door without going near roads. EV charging available. Original beamed ceilings in most rooms, this was originally my family’s farm and I helped convert it when I was a lad, so if there is anything you need to know just ask. Plenty of space to roam and relax, yet easily accessible to towns within 7 minutes and cities in 20. Pub a mile down the road. Cheers! The entire Mews is yours, with a courtyard for (only) one car to park right outside and a table & chairs to sit on in the sunshine ( south-facing) . If you need an ev car charging point it is available at nightly at £9 per night used ( subject to availability). The key will be left for you and you’re free to come and go as you please, but if you’d like some help of advice, or a cuppa, please just ask- my contact details will be given - and I’ll be only too happy to help. :-) You will be staying in a rural location, but never isolated. There are 3 houses nearby and the motorway a couple of minutes away- the best of both worlds. Driving is the easiest way to get to Smithy Ridge, but there is a bus stop 100m from the drive and Darton railway station 5 minutes away by taxi. It is served by Uber ( intermittently) and other taxi companies (more reliably but send the direction video). If you wish to meet people while you are staying, the Weston Centre, with its lovely restaurant/cafe, shop and plenty of parking for your visitors is a 2 minute walk away from the Mews making it a perfect location to catch up with friends and family
