Comfortable Single Bedroom

Situated in a quiet, friendly hamlet in beautiful countryside less than ten minutes' drive north of Andover railway station, we are offering a very comfortable single bedroom. Local villages offer a range of good pubs and the surrounding area provides fresh air and good walking. There is ample parking in our front drive. The single room has a bathroom next to it. The bathroom has a shower, bath and bidet. Breakfast of cereal, toast and fruit is provided in our dining room. Entrance to the property is through our front door. The bedroom and bathroom. Charles and Sarah are living in the house and are available should you require support during your stay. Westwood House is situated opposite the Parish playing field where there is a free tennis court, children's play area, football goals and space to fly a kite! We are on the road that runs between Wildhern and Hatherden, signposted: Village Hall and Hatherden. Our house is on the left hand side, second to last house in the village of Wildhern. The village is just north of Andover, in the centre of Southern England, and is in easy reach of Hungerford, Newbury, Basingstoke, Winchester and Salisbury. We are close to the A303 for East-West journeys, and to the A34 for North-South Journeys. In addition to the historic centres of Salisbury and Winchester, interesting places to visit include Highclere Castle, Mottisfont and Stonehenge, as well as walks along the Kennet/Avon Canal, Test Way and Wayfarer's Walk, and racing at Newbury. The local bus service is sporadic, so a car is needed, but local traffic is not heavy. We have two dogs.
