Renovated, Bright, Comfortable In-town home!
Newly renovated 60’s brick ranch house on the edge of Normaltown and near the loop (bypass 10). Located 2.4 miles from downtown Athens and 1 mile from the center of Normaltown, which offers cute restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The house is bright, open and airy with a large central island connecting the kitchen, living and dining areas. I recently renovated the home to serve as my primary residence but life changes has me splitting my time elsewhere. I’m usually nearby and easy to reach! The home has 4 bedrooms, with 2 in suite full bathrooms and one shared hall bathroom. There are 4 queen beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and more. Keurig coffee maker with k-cups. I’m usually nearby unless I’m out of town for work but always a phone, text or email away. The neighborhood is quiet with many families and locals always out and about. There is a drug store and grocery store nearby, as well as Bishop Park and Normaltown. Grab a coffee at Sips, a cocktail at Normal Bar or a slice of pizza at Automatic. This area has a lot to offer and is close to downtown Athens as well. When you’re driving in from Atlanta, the house is conveniently located near the loop on the west side of town. Driving around, Uber and public transportation are all super easy from my house. If you prefer to take the city bus, there is a stop at the entrance of the neighborhood. Otherwise, traffic is pretty light and you’re convenient to everything in Athens. No more than a 5-10 minute drive anywhere around town.
