Pleasant outdoor area with lovely views. Owners around or easily contacted for help but will not intrude on guests privacy unless required. Our property is located in a beautiful remote rural setting on our family farm. The views from the property are outstanding. There are plenty of beautiful walks on the doorstep and this is a very popular area for climbers and cyclists. There are also many beautiful and interesting places to visit locally. Guests have full use of the entire downstairs part of the cottage, this includes bedroom, bathroom, lounge, kitchen and utility. Whilst guests are staying no-one else will have access to the rented part of the cottage and there is a locked door between our own home and the guests ensuring guests total privacy at all times. There is a stoned patio with garden furniture at the side of the cottage for guests use when the weather allows we will be available for guests to contact either personally or by phone/txt for any queries but otherwise will leave guests to enjoy peace and privacy during their stay. An area of outstanding beauty with many tourist attractions for days out. 7 miles from Castleton with its ancient Peveril Castle and fascinating caves. 13 miles to Chatsworth House and Gardens. 8 miles to Bakewell or Buxton for gift shops, cafes and swimming baths. Matlock and Matlock Bath with its famous cable cars is about 16 miles away and for those looking for excitement Alton Towers theme park is just 30 miles away. There are many small villages in the area to be explored with Sheffield and Chesterfield only 30 minutes away. The area has many beautiful areas for both short and long walks and is always popular with climbers and cyclists This property is fairly remote so it is advised that guests have their own transport or be willing to use taxi services. There is a rural bus service 10 mins walk from the property but this is extremely limited We are very remote, our nearest local shop is 3 miles away and it is 8 miles to the nearest supermarket therefore It is strongly advised that guests have their own transport or are willing to use taxis, there is a local bus service 10 mins walk from the property but it is extremely limited in frequency.
