Aagje B&B in Eys, South Limburg

The church village Eys is situated in the middle of the 5-star landscape of South Limburg. The village is part of the municipality Gulpen-Wittem. Aagje B&B is located in the old center of Eys near the church and two restaurants within a radius of 200 m. Our house is partly built in the hill called 'De Boerenberg'. Just step through the garden gate and you're in the middle of nature! In our typical South Limburg house, built in 1900, we have an accommodation for 2 guests. We have a beautiful room furnished with 2 single beds, which we call the 'Guest-a-library room'. You can also use our sun lounge overlooking our garden. In this lounge the breakfast is being served, you can there watch TV, work or just do nothing at all. We have realized a small pantry right next to the sun lounge, equipped with a sink, refrigerator and microwave. There is also a (Senseo) coffee maker and kettle. The tea and coffee is included. The spacious bathroom (8 m²) is equipped with a walk-in shower and a 2-person sink. There is a separate toilet on the same floor. See above for the description of the rooms. You can check in between 5 PM and 9 PM. We appreciate it if you indicate in advance what time you expect to arrive, so that we can take this into account. Check-out must be before 11:00 so that we have enough time to clean the areas for the next guests. I leave my guests at peace, but when they need me, I'll be there. Immediate surroundings: The moment you step out of the front door, you will encounter the following within a radius of 500 meters: • 5 trails starting at the baroque Saint Agatha Church • Information for mountain bikers (routes) • 3 restaurants, 2 of which have a terrace • Neighborhood supermarket, bakery, shop 'De groene knoop' • Village café • And of course the 5-star landscape A little bit further away: • Gulpen with the slogan: "Tasting and enjoying het Heuvelland" • Valkenburg aan de Geul with the historic castle and caves • Maastricht: "A city to fall in love with" • The place where three countries meet in Vaals • More 5-star landscape Public transport (bus) from Heerlen station or Maastricht station. The bus stop is 50 m away. For a small fee (€ 7,50) we can pick you up from Heerlen station. Of course you can come by car and park, free of charge, directly in front of our house. We have a cat. Therefore pay attention if you are allergic to a cat! Fleur is an old cat: 14 years already. But a real human's cat. We also have a young dog in the house, a Frisian Stabij. She is almost 2 years old and she is a happy and cheerful young dog.
