Tall Timbers, developed during the early 20th century and consists of a hand full of homes in a quiet timbered river-front community. Most homes pass along family lines so this is an opportunity to enjoy a rare find. This is where it is safe to walk the dog, ride the bike, and find new friends. Plenty of parking at the cottage for a boat trailer and two cars. Although Virginia is 3 miles away by boat it is not convenient by car, or public transportation. There are Ferries at Point Lookout that can take you seasonally to Islands or Cape May. The docks across the street are privately owned and not available for our use.
