Holiday let on the edge of the Peak District.
This lovely first floor holiday flat in the heart of New Mills town centre and is an ideal base to rest after discovering out beautiful countryside or maybe seeing family. With the beautiful Peak District right on its doorstep, what is not to like? New Mills, Buxton, Bakewell, Castleton and Chatsworth, home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire to name but a few. We charge a small fee of £25 per visit and allow the max of either 1 lrg dog (Labrador, Collie) or 2 small/med dogs (Terrier, Pug) Sleeping up to 3 people ideally, 4 if you don't mind sharing a smaller sleeping area (double bedroom + small double sofa bed in lounge ideal for either 1 adult or 2 small children) A travel cot can be provided on request. Private self service entrance with key safe. On entrance you will arrive in our spacious lobby where you will find the washing machine and room for any footwear, coats, bikes or prams etc, leading to the first floor. We have a fully fitted kitchen for you to use with a breakfast bar to enjoy your meal. There is a microwave, kettle and toaster, tea and coffee, biscuits and milk. There are bins for recycling and general waste. Dog bowls to save you fetching your own too. The bedroom consists of a double bed with duvet and pillows, bedside tables, drawers and a wardrobe. Bedding for the sofabed is kept in the bedding box in the lounge and the pillows in the wardrobe in the bedroom. The bathroom consists of a walk in shower, sink and a loo. toilet rolls are provided along with towels. The lounge area has freeview, TV and Wifi for you to use, (the wifi access can be found on the back of the router). ****Please note we do accept dogs to come and stay but unfortunately we do not have any outside space of our own to let your dog outside. We are however only a couple of minutes walk away from The Torrs Riverside Park**** Parking is limited to one hour outside the front of the flat with free parking on the road at the back, (Meal St). There are two council run pay and display car parks, one located next to The Torrs/Archies Bar off Market Street and the other is down past Saisburys Local towards the Torrs Riverside Park. this is a self service entry with a key safe, however should you need to contact me I am available between the hours of 8am-6pm Sat-Wed 8am-4pm Thurs & Fri New Mills is a small town with lots of local shops and cafes, why not call in Potts bakery on Union road for some lovely homemade bread, pop into Beles bakery on Market Street for a coffee and and a sandwich or pack up a picnic and go for a walk/ride/hike in our beautiful surrounding. The town centre is close to all amenities, buses and train stations. New Mills Newtown train station runs between Buxton and Manchester Piccadilly. New Mills Central train station runs between Sheffield and Manchester Piccadilly. Various buses run around the High Peak. Glossop-Buxton Buxton-Manchester airport Buxton -Derby Hayfield-Macclesfield If you are looking to stay local you can visit our Heritage centre and find out about our history. I do supply maps and places of interest in the holiday let with lots of walks, gentle or hikes the choice is yours. Parking is available for 1 hour outside the property and on the road at the back for unlimited parking free of charge Unfortunately we are not wheelchair accessible as there are steps up to the property and are located on the first floor. Prams and bikes can be securely stored in the downstairs lobby along with muddy footwear.
