The Container Haus

You are most welcome to stay in Jinja, Uganda's finest container house. This repurposed container started its journey in America & was filled with medical supplies & shoes for Sole Hope. It has been turned into a light, creative, relaxing environment with an amazing shower & comfortable beds. When you stay at @thecontainerhaus you will find the outdoor dining flows into a breezy & light living room & kitchen area. Inside the container is one bedroom with a single (twin) bed & a toddler/baby bed. If you step through the back door you will see the rest of the living space-a large master bedroom & beautiful garden bathroom. Feel free to drink your morning coffee or tea in the rocking chairs on the porch while overlooking the beautiful village countryside & hills. Guests have access to the secure compound, private entrance & garden, fruit trees, outdoor fire pit, hammock & enjoying the entire house. When you book your stay at The Container Haus. We will help arrange someone to guide you or drive you to the house. We will send you very specific directions. Please follow those and not the map/directions on Airbnb. We do have a manager living on the compound to help keep the compound clean and help you with questions you may have. The Container Haus is slightly off the beaten path and is located only 5 minutes from the beautiful Nile Resort where you can swim, dine & go to the gym. We are also 10 minutes from kayaking, paddle boarding & several more fabulous places to eat! Take a 10 minute drive into town & you will be on Jinja's main street. The neighborhood is mainly rolling hills with passion fruit, corn, sugarcane & a few homes. The best way to get around if you do not have a car of your own will be to use one of our trusted Boda drivers or a private hire. We have contact info for all of these options in our welcome book you will find during your stay. Please note: Because the Container Haus does not have an exact address the one listed is just an address close to the Container Haus. For a better idea of where we are located please send us a direct message. After booking we will send you directions and contacts for getting to the Haus.
