The Old Cornstores Arundel

Set in the heart of Arundel is The Old Cornstores: a large three bedroomed penthouse property brimming with glorious English old-world charm. There is a large family kitchen, living room, bathroom, cloakroom, snooker area, terrace and private parking. There are wooden floors throughout the daytime living areas which gives the house a lovely traditional feel and makes it practical for family stays. Well behaved dogs are allowed for a fee of £27.50 per week but they are not allowed on the furniture or to be left at the property unattended. As you will see from the floor plan the terrace and toilet are on the ground floor with steps up to the the living/sleeping areas which are all arranged over the first and second floors. The kitchen is full of traditional character and there is a Rayburn to cook on which also keeps the house warm throughout the day in the cooler months. Over the summer this oven is switched off but there is a small oven/grill and there is a 5 ring hob also in the kitchen. Please be aware that it is your choice whether to have the Rayburn on or not but it isn't the sort of cooker that can be turned on for each meal as it takes about 4 hours to reach full heat. The kitchen table comfortably seats 6 guests. There is a beautiful double aspect living room with fireplace and two large sofas. Bedroom one has a double bed and en suite bathroom, bedroom 2 is a double and there are 2 single beds in bedroom 3 together with a large family bathroom. The Old Cornstores is located at the end of Tarrant St – very close to the many shops, cafes and restaurants of Arundel. There is private parking for one car outside the property and free parking in the streets around. Arundel Cathedral and Arundel Castle are less than 10 minutes walk from the house. If you have a car it takes about 15 minutes to drive to the nearest beaches of West Bay and Clymping. Minimum booking length low season is 3 nights and high season is 7 nights.
