Skipton town centre

Modern 2 bed house with off street parking for 2 cars, set in a quiet location within walking distance of this picturesque town. Skipton is perfectly placed for exploring the Yorkshire Dales as well as visiting Skipton castle, Bolton Abbey, Ilkley with the famous "Betty's Tea Rooms" and Ilkley Moor, famous attraction. The Leeds/Liverpool canal runs through Skipton and normally run barge trips . The town itself has numerous shops, cafes and restaurants as well as excellent transport links. The property offers a comfortable lounge with smart tv and free wifi, with an adjoining kitcen/dining room with patio doors giving access to the garden. On the first floor are 2 bedrooms, one a double and one a twin, NB: One of the single beds is 2'6". There is a family bathroom with shower over the bath. PLEASE NOTE: I do not supply towels. Guests can use all spaces, wardrobes, drawers. except the raised cupboard in the main bedroom . Am available by phone or text to help with any problems. It is a quiet neigh neighbourhood and the neighbours are very friendly. Skipton has bus and train links to Keighley (Worth Valley Steam Railway), Leeds, Grassington, Ilkley ( bus only) and Otley. The bus stop for Skipton and beyond is just opposite the house on the main road. The opposite side of the road goes to Ilkley, Otley and Leeds. The train station is just through the town centre, which is walkable, but about £5 for a taxi. There are great shops, cafe's, pubs and restaurants, and market days in the high street. There are also supermarkets Tesco and Morrisons, both selling low priced petrol. There is something for everyone to explore around Skipton even young ones at nearby "Biily Bob's Ice Cream Parlour" and play park. Tourist info leaflets are provided, and of course Skipton is named "The Gateway to the Dales"!
