Cottage near Lyme Park and Peaks

Log fire, fibre wifi, huge exposed beams, thick walls, beautiful relaxing garden and a comfy bed. It's quiet and breakfast is included. I'm out early and back late so you get the run of the house, hence the price. Airport 35 mins, Peaks about 20. This is a beautiful 19th Century cottage that has been thoroughly modernised to make a cosy, welcoming home. There's oak floors downstairs, carpet everywhere else and for warmth there's digital central heating or a hugely efficient log burner. In the living room is a huge tv/internet projector and there's also a tv with freeview in the bedroom. The award-winning mattress virtually guarantees a good night's sleep, and there's plenty of toiletries that look very like the posh ones you get in hotels. There's everything you would expect in the house and as far as I'm concerned you're welcome to use any of it. If you like to chat and be sociable then great, it's a sociable type of house! If you prefer to do your own thing, crack on. Two minutes up the hill is the Peak District, two minutes down is the village, and some excellent pubs. While the road can be busy at commuting times, generally it's very quiet. At night the only sound is the occasional owl. Lyme Park is 30 minutes' roadside walk or 40-60 minutes if you take the lesser travelled but utterly beautiful back routes. Trains to Buxton and Manchester go from the station roughly every hour, it's about half an hour to Buxton and half an hour the other way to Manchester. Buses are pretty regular, and there's a frequent service to Manchester airport that starts from around 4am and takes roughly 45 minutes. There's a small step down from the pavement to my path
