We now have a sun room as well! The setting is on a small farm giving views of fields and woods. The cost for two sleeping huts (4 people) is more: 1 night - £200, 2 nights - £350, 3 nights - £450 If there are 2 people in total the costs are: 1 night - Sadly we are not offering one night only because of the protocol for the Covid-19 cleaning; 2 nights - £250; 3 nights - £325. The cost for two sleeping huts (4 people) is more: 2 nights - £350, 3 nights - £450 Two shepherd’s huts: the bigger one is for living in and the smaller one is the bathroom. You go down the steps (a light comes on) and you walk outside to the shepherds hut bathroom. Both have “stable doors” which means you can sleep with the moon coming in! The “living” hut is 14 foot long and 7 foot wide lined with pine, and having gone up four steps (with a hand rail) you enter the hut and there is a small electric wood-burning-look stove on the right in the corner. In front of you is the kitchen – a cupboard with two doors that hide the sink (obviously with hot and cold water) and all the kitchen equipment. Underneath and hidden by a curtain is a microwave and a two-ring hob which you can take out and place on a table to use. Everything you need is there, from pretty plates and mugs to saucepans and a waste bin, electric kettle and toaster. There is a small drop-down table with 2 folding chairs to prepare meals or to eat at if the weather doesn’t allow you to be outside. The bed is at the far end of the hut, 4’6″ wide by 6’6″. It has two mattresses so that you can make it into a sofa during the day. One mattress fits neatly under the bed. There is a window at the far end and another one (openable) looking out over our fields. Following popular demand, we have now made it possible to bring two friends/children (plus dog!) with you as we have added an “Arc” to the Shepherds Hut. The design is based upon a field shelter for horses made into a warm (fully insulated) and unique place to stay. The Arc benefits from all the same facilities as the Shepherds Hut (hot tub, bicycles, tennis court). It can only be reserved by those using the Shepherds Hut to keep it exclusive. We know you will enjoy the Arc – a very comfortable double bed, TV, heating and all the same features as the Shepherds Hut. The cost for two sleeping huts (4 people) is more: 1 night - £200, 2 nights - £350, 3 nights - £450. There is a lot of space for our guests in the Huts. The hot tub is exclusive to the Shepherds Huts and sits in its own hut. You can borrow bikes, play tennis, sit on the sun chairs. You are given a fire pit, sun umbrella, a bbq and ample tables and chairs. We aim to let our guests staying in the Hut and Arc enjoy a peaceful time on their own, but we are very happy to answer any questions and give advice on walks, visits and where the pubs are. We like our visitors to feel relaxed and encourage them to make use of the garden and visit the animals.
