It is within half an hour of Salisbury, Winchester and Newbury. The village offers two pubs/restaurants, community shop and post office, all within a short walking distance of the accommodation. You will have your own parking space immediately outside your private front door all on the same level The owners live next door and are available to provide help and answer any questions during your stay. The property has a shared driveway entrance with separate parking areas and therefore the two properties enjoy their own privacy. The neighbourhood hosts beautiful walks in the countryside. Close to Danebury Iron Age Hillfort. The small town of Stockbridge is only 8 miles from Abbotts Ann and sits astride the River Test. Stockbridge hosts an arrangement of individual unique shops and restaurants along with its own country walks. The medieval cathedral city of Salisbury is 30 minutes away with the World Heritage site of Stonehenge close by. Your own private transport will enable you to explore the area and easily reach Salisbury, Winchester and Newbury. There are buses that run to and from Andover and several local taxi companies available. Grateley and Andover train stations are within a 10-minute drive, both with parking facilities, offering regular routes to London and the West. The owners have a dog, Kobe.
