Beautiful riverside location, perfect for relaxing by the water and watching the boats and wildlife or exploring Newark and the surrounding area. Sleeps up to four people: 1 king size bed with shower en-suite, and two bedrooms with single beds which overlook the river. Fully appointed kitchen, family bathroom with full bath, utility area, dining room and living room with smart TV. French doors open out onto a riverside patio with table and chairs. Bike storage available. Also Wifi & workspace. We are excited to provide guests with a fresh new feel to the house from April 2021 - new carpets, decoration and furniture, including bedding and mattresses. If you need more, please ask. We live next door to the property so are generally on hand should you need anything (but we'll also keep our distance and give you your privacy too!). Newark is a historic market town, the centre is about a 20 minute walk from the house. We're proud of our local businesses and the town is home to some wonderful cafes and pubs, as well as shops of all kinds. The town is home to the National Civil War Museum, which includes a walking trail around the town and an exciting app to help bring the history to life. Newark Castle and the river cruiser are also our personal favourites. You'll find details of places to visit a little further afield in the house guide. The river path that runs outside the house is the start of many great walks around local farmland, villages and the nearby Farndon Ponds nature reserve.
