Spacious, green dune villa with two bedrooms, wood-burning stove and infrared sauna with full spectrum radiators. You can add this in the bedrooms or in the living room for example. This is separate from the kitchen. So anyone who sleeps in the living room has complete privacy and can sleep in while the others have breakfast in the kitchen. Walking, cycling, reading, writing, making music, cooking or staring outside ... More than a holiday home, this seaside villa for four people is a home for all seasons. The ideal place for lovers of nature and space. With that unusually beautiful location: in the Noordhollands Duinreservaat, in the yard of an age-old dune farm. Within walking distance of the sea and beach. Once installed, you can walk or cycle here for days without having to see another car. "An intimate mansion in the countryside," a guest called it. Not overly large, very spacious, not lavish but certainly generous - there is a beautiful slate floor. Adjacent to the spacious entrance with toilet, you will find an L-shaped living room (40 m2) on the ground floor with doors opening onto the terrace and garden to the south. Here you will also find the wood fire and piano. Adjacent a spacious kitchen (20 m 2) also facing south and also with a view of the garden. The kitchen gives access to a utility room with its own entrance. Handy if you come home with dirty walking shoes, for example. On the first floor: two bedrooms, each with two single beds (200 x 90, Auping / tilting spiral), a writing table and more than enough cupboard space. On the landing adjacent to the bedrooms you will find a very spacious bathroom with a toilet, sink and walk-in shower. The second bedroom gives access to a double infrared sauna with full spectrum radiators. Recretatively relaxing, but totally fine for those who want to relieve muscle pain or rheumatic complaints. The garden, facing south, is 14 meters wide 40 (!) meters deep. With an unobstructed location on the east and south sides, separated from trees and woods by just a ditch, separated from the garden of the adjacent main house on the west side by a twig and willow fence. You can park your car at the entrance to the dune reserve, a four-minute walk from the house. More than a holiday home, this is a true "house-house" for all seasons. Green, green and again: green. Duinvilla The Janhuis is surrounded by a number of gardens, adjacent to meadows and woods. This gives you the feeling to be completely away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Extra special is the location in a protected nature area: the Noord-Hollands Duinreservaat. This beautiful nature park is around 5 300 hectares and is therefore one of the largest contiguous nature reserves in our country. It is about 20 kilometers long, 2.5 kilometers wide on average and extends from the village of Wijk aan Zee to the Schoorl Dunes. Every kilometer in the area is different, with specific plant and animal species. In Castricum you will find everything for an ideal holiday. Castricum has its own station and cities such as Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar can also be reached quickly by car. And what do you do when you wake up in the morning and a beautiful beach day stretches out in front of you again? Then you take the bike and paddle to the sandy beach of Bakkum that is just a little quieter (no pavilions) than that of the other seaside resorts. You can easily keep it there all day long with a book and the surf. In the evening you move to the beach of Castricum aan Zee and sit down on a terrace of one of the beach pavilions that are fully present there. For completeness: a group accommodation is located in the adjacent dune farm. As a result, you may hear human sounds outside of birds as well as birdsong. Depending on the wind direction above Castricum, there may also be air traffic. Rest is most likely here, but not guaranteed.
