The Stables B&B on a Beautiful Country Estate

If you are looking for a quiet and cosy getaway then our Bed and Breakfast “The Stables” is a wonderful choice. The Stables are within the grounds of Harburn House so is a perfect choice if you are visiting us for an event. The closest train station runs services to both Edinburgh and Glasgow so you will be in a great location for visiting both cities. We would be delighted to welcome couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families, and big groups. The Stables is on the beautiful Harburn Estate, when staying with us we encourage you to make the most of the outside space and can suggest walking routes to help you plan your time. If you would like help planning days out to local attractions we can help with that too. Although on the estate, The Stables is separate from Harburn house so there is no need to share kitchen, bathroom or living areas. The Stables has 5 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and dining area. There are 4 bathrooms available for guests to use. You will have free use of the wifi and sky TV. Breakfast is included in the price but we can also provide a fridge filling service or other meals by arrangement. Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, on site parking. We can offer assistance with planning days out and advise on local travel and attractions. However, if you are looking to come and retreat from the hustle and bustle of every day life we can give you all the space and peace you need. Harburn is close to West Calder in West Lothian. This area of Scotland boasts beautiful countryside with seemingly never ending options for walking and exploring our beautiful country. We are half way between Edinburgh and Glasgow so IF you would like to explore the city but prefer to have quiet evenings with undisturbed sleep then this is the place for you. The Stables is a 10 minute drive to the closest train station, West Calder, which has regular services to Glasgow (45 mins) and Edinburgh (30 mins). The Stables has a no smoking policy throughout.
