Natural idyll near the sea: Apartment "Alkoven"

The "Malzower Reethuus" is a 180 year old, thatched farmhouse, which is located in the hidden, quiet village named Malzow on the river Maurine in the northwestern tip of Mecklenburg. Here, 4 very cozy, stylish apartments are available. In the beautiful large, ingrown garden everyone finds his place, in the protected environment you can beautifully hike and cycle, the Baltic beaches of the "Klützer Winkel" invite you to swim and go for a walk. The "Alkoven" is a small, cozy 1-room apartment with a visible framework and a view of the beautiful ingrown garden and is suitable for 2 persons. The bright living room has a double bed, a small dining table with 2 chairs, a wardrobe and a modern kitchenette. There are also satellite TV (flat screen) and free Wi-Fi. The adjacent bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. For families with children we recommend that you check out the apartment "Laube" wich is more spacious. Our other apartments: "Laube" for up to 3 people, separate access to the garden with its own seat, dog suitable; "Mansard" for up to 5 people, especially charming located under the roof. Or the "Refugium", for up to 4 people, beautiful, with its own east-facing terrace (morning sun!), bookable by the search word "Refugium Malzow" The garden with sandpit and barbecue is available to all guests. In the basement room a washing machine is available. We cannot be on site continously but we are available per mobile phone at any time The quiet natural beaches of the Mecklenburg Bay are only 15 minutes away by car. The Hanseatic cities of Lübeck and Wismar can be reached in about 30 minutes, and in summer the Mecklenburg Music Festival offers classical concerts at the beautiful Bothmer Castle (approx. 30 minutes). Also just half an hour away is the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee with its varied landscape, which is ideal for cycling and hiking. There is a bike rental in Schönberg (way2bike, bikes can be delivered to the house). And otherwise: rest, switch off, come down, enjoy nature - Malzow is always peaceful. Despite its idyllic location, the supply in Malzow is no problem. In Schönberg, about 3 km away, supermarkets and other shops are available. There are some good restaurants in the area accessible by car. Doctors and pharmacies are also available in Schönberg. We provide full refund in case of cancellation (even at short notice) due to COVID-19. Please mind the Corona testing regulations currently applicable in the state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. We maintain high hygienic standards. For example, we rent out our apartments with at least 24 hours notice to guests who have departed, in order to allow sufficient time for cleaning, disinfection and airing. A dispenser for hand disinfection is available at the entrance to the house. Bed linen can be rented for a fee of 10.00 EUR per set, as well as a towel package (1 bath towel, 2 towels) for 5.00 EUR. Please let us know in advance. Of course you are welcome to bring your own bed linen and towels. Please note that the quality of our WiFi connection may vary depending on the utilization by other guests.
