Overlooking the historic St Peters church they have been luxuriously appointed to the highest contemporary standard. Constructed of Cotswold stone with central and underfloor heating. The studio style layout provides a double bedroom with a private ensuite wet room. Downstairs is a fully fitted kitchen and open plan living room and breakfast bar. The cottages are of traditional Cotswold style but have all the modern amenities needed for a perfect Oxford experience. The space is private, clean, quiet and modern and the traditional village atmosphere contributes to the charm of the area. The cottages are totally self-contained. They are privately accessed and appointed to a high standard The guests have access to the property and space to park a car directly outside. There is a modern clean kitchen with a cooker, fridge and washing machine. There is a small breakfast bar with stools. There are 2 sofas and a wall mounted wifi linked Smart tv. There is a porch with hooks for coats and a built-in box for shoes and other storage. Upstairs there is a wardrobe and shelf units and a double bed. The ensuite shower room with a door is large and luxuriously appointed. I give guests total privacy and I do not connect with them but I am always available for contact by phone/text if there is a problem. Although only 15 mins from the centre of Oxford, the village of Cassington is pretty and sought after. The cottages are situated at the end of a private lane and overlook the historic Norman country church, St Peters. The local friendly country pub The Chequers is 2 mins walk away and there are a great many amazing walks in all directions. There is private off-road parking for one car outside each cottage. The main bus stop into Oxford is 5 mins walk away on the A40 Cassington turn. The buses No 853 and the Stagecoach S2 take approx 12-18 mins into Central Oxford. There are buses every 15 minutes (more at weekends). The Oxford Parkway railway station is 12 minutes by car and has 2 trains to London Marylebone each hour taking approx 58 mins. Royal Taxis, ABC Radio cars and 001 Taxis provide fares to Central Oxford (approx £15) or to Summertown (approx £12) obviously depending on traffic etc. There is also easy access to the flat and safe A40 cycle path with runs directly into Oxford City Centre turning left and straight on to Witney turning right at Cassington lights. There are free range chickens wandering about the garden and there will be eggs available for guests in the cottage for their breakfast.
