The owners offer horse riding to visitors and can accompany you on local bridleways around the Shibden Valley. Guests are welcome to bring along their horses, who can enjoy a holiday in a stable or field. Halifax can be easily reached and there you will find stunning architecture such as the unique Piece Hall and the Halifax Minster, together with independent and high street shops, markets and many fabulous places to eat and drink. The fabulously diverse bohemian town of Hebden Bridge is just a short drive away, as is Haworth with the Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway. In the other direction, you will come across the most recognized landscape of Holmfirth, which is the home of the TV series ’Last of the Summer Wine’, and the wonderful Peak District National Park. The cottages are ideally located for outdoor enthusiasts with a variety of activities available in the surrounding areas, as well as a range of cycle paths to suit all ages and abilities.
