A detached house with large kitchen diner into the garden, double aspect sitting room, study, utility room and loo. 3 bedrooms with one en suite and a family bathroom. 90’ garden with dining area, bbq and games room (limited space around table tennis!), herb garden and private gate access into the village. Parking at the front of the property for 3 cars. Shed at the back of the property for safe bike storage. Before and throughout your stay, I will be available to contact with any questions you may have to help your stay be exactly what you need. This property is perfectly positioned, the central village location is close to all the amenities, walking distance to the beach, anchorage & all the seafood restaurants. A short drive to Cudmore Grove Country Park with stunning walks and adventure play park. Mersea offers so much for all ages, boat trips round the harbour or across the water to the Green Man pub, fishing, water sports; paddle boarding, kayaking, the boating lake, beaches, crabbing, bird watching, rambling, sailing. A variety of restaurants with the famous Mersea oysters, seafood and fish & chips, and if seafood isn’t your ideal, there are lots of choices on offer. Park your cars, everything you need is within walking distance unless you are heading up to East Mersea, but it’s also a great place to cycle, so don’t hesitate to bring your bikes. (Secure bike storage available). As we live on an island, please be aware that sometimes the tide can cover the Strood (road onto the island). Please be sure to check the tide times before you set off as if you get stuck waiting it can be up to an hour. Best to arrive an hour either side of the high tide of the day if over 5.0.
