Double room in a stone house in a quiet village

Our agrotourism is the perfect place for people who want to relax, learn about life in a traditional village and explore the off-beaten track countryside. We are located in the picturesque village of Pera Orinis at the foothills of the Machairas mountains. The room is on the ground floor and has has an en suite bathroom. Common spaces includes a central yard with tables, an indoor dining area and a reception area. Home-made breakfast with our biological products is included in the price. Our Agrotourism B&B accommodation in a renovated traditional stone-built house located in the picturesque village of Pera Orinis, nestled in the foothills of the Machairas mountains. Despite its quiet location it is only a 20-minute drive (or 30-minute bus ride) from the capital Nicosia. By staying at us you will have the possibility not only to relax and to explore our beautiful countryside, but to taste our home-made products (cheese, jams, cakes, pastries,...) and to participate in local activities (traditional halloumi cheese making, olive oil production, fruit collection, visit of nearby farms...). Activities needs to be reserved at least few days in advance. Home-made freshly prepared dinner can also be arranged upon request (at least 1 day notice). Our location is ideal for tourists who love nature and outdoor activities. Trekking, cycling, birdwatching, horse-riding, kayaking are all possible at nearby locations. This is a double room (15 m²) located at the ground floor fitted with wooden furniture, beamed ceilings and stone flooring. The private bathroom (with shower) is inside the room. Room Facilities: fan, heating, bed sheets, towels, free toiletries. Bed size: 1 double bed Common areas: dining room, central courtyard with tables. Agrotourism services:home-made breakfast included in the price, home-made dinner on request, free WiFi in common areas, selling of home-made products, cooking lessons & workshops & tours for small groups. Guest have a private room and ensuite bathroom. They can also access common area shared with other guests (yard, reception, dining area). They cannot use the kitchen as we use it to prepare breakfast (included) and dinner (on request) to our guests We are glad to advice our guests about places to visit nearby, restaurants, trekking paths. Guests can also borrow maps of the area. Pera is a quiet traditional village in the countryside. People come here to relax and to have a feeling of the real life in a Cypriot village. They may join us in our rural activities or meeting the locals in the old coffee shop (kafenio). There are some easy nature paths just outside the village center, that pass through fields and orchard finally reaching the Tamassos dam. There is public transportation to Nicosia (free shuttle bus to Deftera and then bus 157 to Solomou Square). There is public parking nearby (in front of the COOP bank or in front of the Kafenio). Please note that we need at least one day notice. We do not take last minute booking. CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIME ARE FLEXIBLE depending on availability of the room.
