Private getaway on our organic garlic farm with sunroom, wood stove, fully equipped kitchen & wifi. Walk to the Fern Lake swimming access, wander our woods trails, explore the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area, kayak on Fern or Lake Dunmore, bike the trails & back roads, kiss mama llama. 15 minutes to Rikert Nordic Center, Blueberry Hill, & Middlebury Snow Bowl; 40 minutes to Killington, 55 min to Sugarbush & Mad River. Middlebury College, local breweries & restaurants nearby. Coffee beans, a dozen fresh eggs, provided. Enjoy a bonfire out on Stoney Lonesome (far field), and inquire about our wedding venue. Parking is close to the entry. If you are from out-of-state and need to quarantine, we would be happy to make weekly supply runs for you. Recommended eateries: Cafe Provence (Brandon), the Natural Foods Coop, Flatbread, Two Brothers Tavern, Swift House (Middlebury), the Bobcat (Bristol), Tourterelle (New Haven), & The Black Sheep Bistro (Vergennes). The Moosalamoo Recreation Area can be accessed from several nearby trailheads, and our farm is adjacent to the Leicester Hollow/Chandler Ridge trail. Great area for biking. The Middlebury transit bus makes a daily stop just 2 miles from the farm. Let us know if you need a pickup. Pricing: The listed base price is for two people; each additional guest is $35 per night. Accommodations can stretch to five or six people if we add an extra mattress-- or enlist the couches.
