Cottage at the heart of the Champagne region

Located in the middle of the Champagne region, our cottage offers you the quietness of a wine producing village. Certified 'Sustainable vineyard', the Lafrogne family will welcome you directly on its farm and allow you to discover the cellar and details of champagne production. Our cottage is ideally located on the 'Touristic road of Champagne' and is on the 'Pétillante Demoiselle' hike. You will also be 5 min away from Dormans, 25 min from Château-Thierry/Epernay, 35 min from Reims. Our cottage is newly renovated and you will be among the first visitors to come. It has a large living room and two separate bedrooms to allow for enjoyable moments with family and/or friends. You also have a private terrasse at your disposal right in front of the cottage. The whole cottage and a parking place and a terrasse in front. We offer our assistance during your stay. We can also provide you with our special breakfast composed of local products served directly at your door in the morning (do not hesitate to ask us for more details). We also put two bikes and their helmets at your disposal. If you wish to book the last week of august or the first week of september, it is likely that we will be in harvesting time. This can be a wonderful opportunity for any visitors who would be willing to discover a lively atmosphere of the harvest. However, it can also induce some disturbance so keep this in mind when booking your stay. Wine tourism is of course available during your stay with, for instance, a tour of our cellar. A few steps away from your cottage, you will easily find the path of the 'Pétillante demoiselle' hike which will guide you through the vineyards. In the same village, you should also not miss the Trélou lake. By car, we recommend you to visit the numerous castles in the surroundings (Coucy, Guise, Fère-en-Tardenois...) Our cottage is near the cities of Château-Thierry, Reims, Epernay and Dormans. The latter hosts a world war one memorial to not miss.
