Oak framed timber clad cottage

Cottage in beautiful garden setting, very large living room/kitchen this has bi-fold doors to terrace overlooking the gardens. Wood burrner for heating. 2 double bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor. Also a loft bedroom with double bed. Its spacious and easy to live in. The 2 bedrooms on the ground floor are a joining. The 3rd bed is in the mezzanine loft. The bathroom is spacious and has an over bath shower with a side screen. The kitchen has a large electric oven / hob and a large fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, and lots of crocks and small kitchen equipment. I think the space is good for 4 people as there is 1 bathroom. This property is on the Surrey/Sussex border, close to the South Downs National Park. We are well placed weather you like a day at the races, Goodwood is glorious or up to London for shopping or theater. Golf course and fishing ponds a stones throw away. There are a network of footpaths and bridleways in the area for people that like walking and cycling. Several National trust properties including Petworth House. Arundel Castle is only 30mins by car, Chichester with its beautiful Cathedral and Brighton and the famous Pavilion about 40mins. There are also several gastro pubs and restaurants to enjoy. We are resident next to the cottage so will be available most of the time to help or guests enjoy their holiday to the full. I love that this area is so tranquil very green and pretty. Some may say in the middle of no where I say in the middle of every where. All the sweet old towns of Petworth, Midhurst, Haselmere, Cranleigh are about 6 to 8 miles away. You really need a car or a bicycle if you want to make the most of the area. Parking is available on site. If you were coming from the airport and not hiring a car you could get a train to one of the local stations. Haselmere or Billingshurst, I would be prepared to collect guests if a prior arrangement was made. We have a beautiful pond in the garden, if you bring children you must be responsible for them. The drive way is gravel and there is a step up to the terrace/door. Inside the doorways into the bathroom and bedroom are 70cm wide. The bathroom is not fitted with disabled facilities so may be unsuitable for some people especially wheelchair users.
