La Chasse cottage is nestled among 10 acres of private fields and woodlands in the heart of the Jersey countryside and dates back to the 16th century. It has recently been renovated to extremely high standards with underfloor heating and geothermal and photovoltaic renewable energies. The parish of Trinity is a place of natural beauty, with the sea, cliff paths and coastal, diving and other coastal activities only a short walk away. The cottage is cosy and well furnished. The house has been recently renovated to a high standard. We will be available on site to answer any questions you may have. La Chasse sits in the same parish as the Durrell Zoo, as well as the Steam Museum. The Ancient Burial site Houge Bie is in the next parish along in St Martin and the town of St Helier is a few minutes down the hill. Bouley Bay is one of the local bays in Trinity. You can do canoeing along the coast from here as well as diving and beautiful coastal path walks. Mad Mary's cafe is on the beach at Bouley Bay. The beaches out west are sandy and beautiful. St Brelades is worth a trip, with plenty of restaurants and water sport activities. St Ouen's is Jersey's surf beach and home to Jersey Pearl. There is a bus stop at the end of the road. Taxis are easy to book. We have a Home James system on Jersey, so you can go out for dinner and enjoy a glass of wine and Home James will bring you back to the cottage. As this is a traditional cottage, there are low beams in the attic bedroom and one in the upstairs hallway.
