Clipper View has been lovingly renovated by the owners and is an immaculate family home with incredible, unspoilt, views across Gerrans Bay. The accommodation is luxurious with a stunning kitchen diner and separate lounge, both with wood burning stoves, the bay window in the lounge makes the most out of the vista. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms with sea views and a rear aspect twin bedroom all beautifully furnished. To the front of the property is a mature garden and patio which remains in the sun for most of the day and is a perfect spot for a cold glass, a good book and gazing out on the glittering sea. It is only a short, five minute walk, along the path at the bottom of the garden to the pretty little harbour where many artists have taken inspiration due to the superb light and there are a number of delightful galleries. The Plume of Feathers public house is nestled in the square and serves local ales and good pub food all year round. There is a small beach at low tide and delicious refreshments available during the day from Tatams. Rosevine beach, which is dog friendly all year is just to the east of the village it has beautiful golden sands (at low tide) and is over looked by the increasingly famous Hidden Hut. Before you visit try and get on their social media page and acquire tickets to their special outdoor dining events. The owners of the Hidden Hut have now opened a restaurant in the village itself - Tatams Wood Fired Taverna, located under the Harbour Club - well worth checking it out. Accommodation Ground Floor: The entrance is at the rear of the property, and you enter into the open plan kitchen and dining area with fully fitted units and appliances, French doors that open onto the rear courtyard, a wood burning stove and further French doors that open to the living room. There are comfortable sofas and chairs, a bay window with sea views, wood burning stove and flat screen TV with Netflix. Further door to hallway with front door to the garden, door back to the kitchen / dining area. Downstairs cloakroom with WC and hand basin. Hall with stairs to; First Floor: The stairs open on to a small landing with doors leading to; a family bathroom with shower over bath, WC and wash hand basin. A twin bedroom with a wardrobe and chest of drawers. A double, master bedroom with 5' zip and link bed, sea views, TV and an en suite shower room with WC and hand basin. Further stairs leading to; Second Floor: The stairs open onto a small landing area with doors to; Owners storage area. Shower room with WC and hand basin. Double bedroom with 4'6" bed, storage, sea views and TV. Exterior: There is off road parking for 2 cars in front of the garage, to the rear of the property there are quite a few steps down to the front door from the parking spaces. To the front of the property is a private garden with mature shrubs and those superb views. There is a BBQ (charcoal not provided). There is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer accessed from the courtyard outside the back door. Facilities & Services Clipper View has under floor heating on all floors from a ground source heat pump. The kitchen has a range of cupboards & worktops. There is an electric oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, fridge / freezer. The outside utility area contains a washing machine and tumble dryer. The sitting room has a digital TV & DVD player with Netflix. There are further TVs in the two main bedrooms along with hairdryers if required. The house has unlimited broadband WiFi. An iron & ironing board, a cot and high chair are also supplied. Miscellaneous Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are included but you will need to provide your own beach towels. There is parking available for 2 cars to the rear. Smoking is not permitted and dogs are not accepted at Clipper View. General Booking Information Arrival / Departure is normally a Friday. Short breaks are available during quieter periods. £250 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required.
