Gardens of lavender and rosemary surround the house. The pool 12m x 6m is close to the house with sun beds and chairs for 10, shaded by pergola. Beyond are olive trees, orange and lemon groves. This traditional Andalusian farmhouse has been recently renovated to a very high standard, to include all modern amenities. It sits atop a ridge overlooking the Lecrin Valley and has spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada mountains and a lake. The surroundings consist of farm land covered in olive and orange groves. Because of its position, it is quiet and peaceful, the ideal place to rest and very suitable for children tp play without your having to worry about the neighbours! The large pool provides enjoyment for all the family and there is a large BBQ on the upper terrace. Shopping facilities are not far away, nearest being about 10 mins drive in Restabal. The world famous Alhambra palace is about 30 mins away along the motorway and is not to be missed. Combine this with a visit to the restaurants and tapas bars in Granada town and you will have an interesting and enjoyable change of atmosphere. If you are feeling like some more serious exercise, then we can recommend a tour on horse back around the valley; golf about 20 mins away; or even one of the many signposted walks through the local countryside. Other ideas for your stay include a visit to the beach at Salobrena, or to the pretty yacht harbour at Marina del Este. The caves at Nerja, some 45 mins away, are spectacular and highly recommended, especially in the unlikely event of a rainy day.
