The fire-pit is great for roasting marshmallows whilst appreciating the starry night sky and flickering lights in the valley below. Perfect for a small family, group of 3, or professional travelling for business or studies providing the space a small home offers. All units are self catering and fitted with burglar bars, alarms & panic buttons. Roaming security guards patrol the property & an armed response company is on call as an additional safety measure. All units, out-buildings and stables are concentrated at the top end of the grounds, making lots of space available for walks, cycling, mountain biking & horse riding on the estate and surrounding mountain area. There is lots to discover on your outings as each season reveals its' own life cycle and unique photo opportunities. The character of the estate also changes from sunset to sunrise as the vast expanse of stars and far-off flickering lights invite you to linger for long sociable evenings around a camp fire. Whilst some indulge in watching YouTube or Netflix, more adventurous guests may choose to spend an evening in a sleeping bag at the fire, a perfect place to unwind..... The guest house and common areas are available to guests. Your host and staff live on the property, available to assist with your additional requirements Placed at the foot of Hornsnek pass (M17), Hornsnek 68 provides easy access to many wedding venues within easy reach by car. Uber may be suggested for those who wish not to drive after much celebration or festivities. Medunsa and the Tshwane University of Technology also are easily accessible. Included, the industrial areas of Pretoria West and North, Brits and Rosslyn. The main shopping area -Wonderpark Shopping Centre- is 12km east of the estate, with smaller shopping areas closer to home. The city centre of Pretoria is a short 20km away, offering featured attractions and scheduled day-trips. Established attractions such as Hartbeespoort, Craft markets, Sun City and Pilansberg are within easy reach on the main access routes. Side roads will assist you in exploring some of the lesser known activities, eateries, venues, markets and places of interest. Wonderboom, Lanseria and OR Tambo airports are all under an hour's drive, with the Hatfield Gautrain Station a short 30 minutes away. Being so close to nature, we are very cautious of fires started on the farm, especially in the dry winter months. These should only be done only in allocated areas. Pots with water hoses are located at each tap should your fire get out of hand.
