Entire upstairs in Arts and Crafts Oak Park home

We're a quick walk to the CTA Blue line, great coffee shops and restaurants, parks, musical venues, the Oak Park Arts District, and a quick drive to downtown. Our home is cozy, in a friendly neighborhood, and you can use the entire upstairs (with private bathroom) and bicycles. There are two bedrooms and a common area with a futon, table, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and kettle, so it is flexible for individuals, couples, families or small groups. Free overnight parking is available. You'll be able to enter your upstairs space through our side entrance, with access to our back yard as well. Even if you only need one bedroom, the upstairs is all yours. There is a shared stairway that we use only between our first floor and the basement. We have lived in Oak Park for 31 years and have extensive knowledge of things to do and places to go while you are here. We are in an ideal location, and it's easy to take the el or drive downtown. You can also enjoy the tree lined, friendly Oak Park neighborhood. If you have a car we'll be glad to register the car with the village for free overnight parking. We have several bicycles that you may use to get around Oak Park, and we are also a short walk to the CTA Blue Line. You'll need to purchase a Ventra card to ride the CTA. Getting downtown by car is also quick (except during rush hour) and you can park more affordably using the Spot Hero app. Overnight street parking is free for the first three nights, after which there is a $7 per night charge.
