The Old Log Shed

A special place to stay offering tranquillity and privacy. The Shed has been developed using mainly up-cycled materials. Laid out over two floors with under floor heating it has its own fridge, combination microwave oven, induction hob and a warm and cosy feel plus a secure sunny garden. Perfectly located for the Cheltenham Races and all that the Cotswolds offer. We are close to Bourton on the Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, The Slaughters, Broadway and many other popular places. Dogs £25 for stay. The Old Log shed is laid out over two floors and is situated in the grounds of the owners home. On the ground floor there is a good sized open plan kitchen/breakfast room with two southerly facing windows. There is a fridge/freezer, sink, combination microwave oven, plug in single hob, kettle and toaster. The breakfast bar overlooks a small courtyard where you are welcome to sit. Upstairs there is a large open plan living/bedroom with a super comfy king size bed. There is also an L-shaped sofa bed and a single mattress. Extra guests are welcome at an extra fee. There is a television with free view channels and built in dvd player. Off the bedroom/sitting room there is a bathroom with a bath with a hand held shower head. There is also a heated towel rail. Throughout the Log Shed is underfloor heating. The Log Shed is above and to the side of a garage and this space is exclusively for our guests. We have plenty of space for parking but would ask that guests unload there belongings outside the shed and then park down by the barn near the entrance. We will be there to meet guests if we are around or will make alternative arrangements for handing over the key. Happy to chat but respect guests privacy. We are situated in the beautiful Cotswolds, 25 minutes from Cheltenham Racecourse. Cheltenham Town has the Literature, Science and Jazz festivals. We are a 10/15 minute drive from Bourton On The Water and Stow On The Wold. Local pubs include The Black Horse at Naunton, The Hollow Bottom at Guiting Power, The Plough at Ford. We are surrounded by picturesque villages and stunning walks. We are also a few minutes from Naunton Downs Golf Course (bring your clubs). Ideally you will need a car or a bike. Nearest Station is Kingham. The Log Shed is set away from our house but still within the grounds. We have children and dogs. We welcome dogs as the walks around the Cotswolds are amazing but ask that guests keep them downstairs and not on the furniture. We also ask that they are kept under control at all times as we have livestock. To the rear of the Shed is a secure walled garden for guests to use if they wish along with a BBQ (you will need to bring charcoal).
