The Traveller's Cottage is located on the top of the hill, 1 mile from Chipping Norton with stunning walks through the fields to the Great Rollright Stones & Salford. We are only a few minutes away from the famous Diddly Squat Farm Shop, Chastleton House, and Blenheim Palace. In the middle of the Cotswolds with plenty to explore and see. We are offering a spacious and comfortable double room with the use of shared living areas. Breakfast is available at a cost. Little ones are welcomed here! We provide you with a peaceful and comfortable space for your stay. Coffee, tea, water, toiletries and fresh towels are available for you. If you would like wine, cake or any other particular item, they can be made available to you at an extra cost, just let me know in advance. Guests are free to use all the shared areas: Bathroom, living room, TV and games available in the living room, kitchen, conservatory and garden. There is off-road free parking. Please note that there is no TV in the room, as we would prefer you to use the entire house instead of being stuck only in the room, however, if you prefer having a TV in the room, please let me know in advance. We work from home so, we will be around to welcome you and advice on the local area and places of interest. We are friendly and enjoy chatting with people if you like that. We have two adorable cats: Tinha and Kissy, they enjoy lots of attention. If you are a cat lover, they will be your friends in no time. We look forward to welcoming you to our home. We are in a pleasant and peaceful area, surrounded by fields for you to enjoy long or short walks as you please. We are close to the Great Rollright Stones and smaller villages. We are only 2.7 miles from the famous Diddly Squat Farm Shop, 5 miles to Hook Norton Brewery, 6 miles to Chastleton, 7 miles to Daylesford Organic, and 12 miles from Blenheim Palace. Chipping Norton is at a short walk of 1 mile down by Over Norton Hill. The stunning Bliss Mill can be fully appreciated by a short 1.6 miles walk through the green fields. Great Rollright Stones is an enjoyable 1.9 miles away. The beautiful village of Salford can be reached through the Over Norton fields in a 2.3 miles pleasant walk and you can refresh yourself at the Hook Norton Brewery after a long walk or a short drive, it is only 5.2 miles away. The Chastleton House, a Jacobean country house is a National Trust property that holds intact over 400 years of history is at easy access only 6.1 miles from us.
