A doggie lives on property, but NEVER enters guesthouse The private Loft guesthouse has a new Samsung 55" Smart HD TV, Roku TV, and high speed internet and WiFi. Central heat and air conditioning can be adjusted for personal comfort. A large Haiku ceiling fan with remote control maximizes the afternoon ocean breeze. The bedroom has a new Cal. King Dormeo mattress from Belgium with luxury linens, a cozy writing desk under the window looks out over the garden, and large walk in private dressing room has ample hanging and storage space. The kitchen is fully equipped with new Kitchen Aid appliances including a dishwasher, a professional gas oven and range and full size refrigerator freezer. Caesarstone island and countertops provide ample space for dining, cooking and entertaining. The adjacent skylit walk-in pantry and laundry with a full-size washer and dryer has lots of storage. The newly remodeled modern bathroom has a walk in shower, vanity with storage and great lighting. Feel free to use the meditation garden below the the Loft guesthouse for quiet time: reading, napping, meditation or dining al fresco. I live in the main house on the property, across the garden from the Loft, and available at any time, otherwise the Loft is yours to enjoy privately. This fabulous property is tucked away in an upscale neighborhood close to all that Santa Monica has to offer. The house is less than a mile from beautiful beaches, the Santa Monica Pier, and two blocks from fine dining, coffee shops, and boutiques. Leave your car behind... Santa Monica is a wonderful walking town. Hulu bike shares are available just down the street, local cross town buses connect to the Metro rail. Ride a Santa Monica Big Blue Bus or Uber/Lift to any location including the nearby beach communities of Venice and Malibu. From the Loft location, walk west on a quiet residential street and enjoy the beautiful beach sunsets from Palisades Park on Ocean Avenue. The Santa Monica City Council adopted a Home-Sharing Ordinance on May 12, 2015 which legalized the short term rental of a portion of a person's home when the host lives on-site during the visitor's stay and when the host obtains a business license.
