A lovely quiet place to recharge body and soul

Our home is in the heart of 'Poldark Country' in West Cornwall close to the cliffs and moors. The area is renowned for the views, the light and the open space. The accommodation is a self contained flat attached to our house with it's own separate entrance. We are in a small village with a pub and Meadery less than 2 minutes walk away. Other attractions nearby are Geevor Tin Mine and St Just. St Ives, with it's artistic buzz and beaches, and busy Penzance are an easy drive or bus ride away. The accommodation is self contained so that you have the privacy of your own entrance to come and go as you please. Jeremy or Rachel will usually be around in the main house or contactable by mobile if out. Jeremy is great at fixing things and Rachel is Cornish born and bred and knows lots about the local area. We are in a village but the moors and coast path are two minutes from the front door. West Cornwall is renowned for it's dramatic scenery, ancient historical sites and more recent industrial archaeology (Poldark's Wheal Grace Mine is a short walk away on the cliffs!) The area has been designated an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" and is in the UN World Heritage site. The secluded secret sandy beach at Portherras is close by and the surfing beaches of Sennen, Gwenver and Porthmeor are 20 minutes drive away. Throughout the summer months there are nightly performances at the world famous Minack Theatre and there is a vibrant local arts and music scene. There are as range of adventurous activities available in the area from surfing lessons to horse riding on the beach, sailing and canoeing to golf. There is a bus stop 200 metres away with half hourly buses to Penzance and further afield and the open top coast bus service runs during the summer months.
