Our 1866 artisan's cottage is in Faversham's conservation area close to the town centre with its old market square shops, pubs and restaurants. The house is centrally heated with neutral decor. On the ground floor there is a living and dining room both with an open hearth. The kitchen with is fitted with gas cooker hob and oven fridge/freezer washing machine and microwave oven. The rear lobby, leading to the rear garden and bathroom, with electric shower also houses the dishwasher. Upstairs there is a second washroom and WC. The house is a traditional Victorian cottage and the stairs are quite narrow. We welcome people with limited mobility but we must point out that the bedrooms are upstairs. You are renting the whole house and garden. The bins area at the bottom of the garden is shared with the neighbour. We are pet friendly but we do ask that you let us know if you plan to bring your pet with you. We follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: * We sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob * We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination * We clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists * We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay We like to meet and greet our guests when they arrive and to show them around the house. We live about 3 miles away so are on hand if any problems arise but ordinarily we do not visit the house while guests are in residence.
