Grade II listed property with period features located in the heart of the beautiful Surrey Hills countryside with excellent cycling and hiking trials virtually on the doorstep. The village has a wide range of day-to-day amenities including village shops, a convenience store, public houses, restaurants and a church. The surrounding rolling countryside offers a variety of outdoor pursuits including numerous country pubs and country houses like Denbies Vineyard, National Trust maintained Polesden Lacey to name but a few. The historic market town of Dorking provides a more comprehensive range of everyday amenities, including High Street and independent retailers, restaurants (including Sorrel owned by Michelin star chef Steve Drake), coffee shops, cinema and a theatre. The bus stop is located directly opposite the property and Dorking is a short 7 minutes bus ride away. ( From Dorking station Central London (London Victoria; London Waterloo stations) can be reached in an hour). Dorking mainline train station is under 3 miles away, about 7 minutes' drive by car or 13 minutes by bus. There is a bus stop is directly opposite the property. From Dorking station there are regular trains to central London within an hour (Victoria or Waterloo). Please note that allocated parking is not available. However parking can usually be found within a few minutes' walk from the property free of charge
