Nice Cottage near the river

On generous 300 sqm of living space in our 150 year old "Eider Cottage" nearby the Eider river there is plenty of space to play and relax. With two combined apartments for up to 16 guests, you have many options for your stay. Ground floor: The center of the ground floor apartment is the spacious hallway with a large dining table for up to 12 people. The adjacent kitchen is of course fully equipped. On colder days a fireplace spread warmth in the living room. Three bedrooms can accommodate a total of 6 people. In the living room there is a spacious sofa bed for two additional guests. A full bathroom with old English bath furniture and underfloor heating adjoins the master bedroom. A further shower room is next to the bedroom in the old barn. Upstairs apartment: The apartment on the first floor will be completed in July 2014 and is distinguished by its 60 square meters large combined living-dining area with open plan and a fully equipped kitchen, view at the Eider river and up to 6 meters ceiling height. Here you find also a sofa bed (1.4 x 2.0 m), a TV / music corner and a large table for 8 people. In the back bedroom area, the master bedroom is equipped with a 2-meter-wide double bed, a second bedroom with sleeping accommodations for two to three people and two bathrooms. One is equipped with a large corner bath, the other with a shower. 'Young Bull Room': Depending on your space requirements, your stay can be supplemented by a further room that can be added to both apartments: We affectionately call it the 'young bull rooms'. As cozy dormitory in the attic for the young at heart and young people, it offers two sleeps on a futon bed (1.6 x 2.0m), another on a sofa bed (MULTY by Ligne Roset, 1.2 x 2.0m) and an extra mattress. The room can be entered either via a ladder through the underlying bedroom or - quite conventional - via the staircase. Linen and towels (towels and sheets) can be rented for € 10 per set. Parking for two to three vehicles in front of the house. The health area Süderstapel has 1047 inhabitants and is situated directly at the Eider river in Schleswig-Holstein, about 18 km south-east of Husum and 9 km from the famous Dutch town of Friedrichstadt. Süderstapel is located at the southernmost edge of the Stapelholmer Geest back. In the beautiful region of the three rivers "Eider-Treene-Sorge" you can do extensive bicycle and boat tours. The mile-long dream beach of St. Peter-Ording is reached in 45 minutes. And also for fans of the Island Sylt Süderstapel is an appropriate starting point: With the hourly departing Nordostseebahn from Friedrichstadt you are in just over an hour in Westerland.
