Eastside @ Fen-Acre

We have on site CCTV protected parking with space for 2 cars/vans. Just a 15min drive to the centre of Peterborough and the same to Spalding. Close to both the A16 and A47 and 15 mins from the A1. Eastside is attached to our home in the lovely historic town of Crowland famous for its medieval Abbey and Trinity bridge. Visit the beautiful Peterborough Cathedral, Burghley House or Sandringham all within travelling distance. Fully self contained accommodation with it's own private entrance. designated parking protected by CCTV, Wheelchair accessible, modern, clean, comfortable with high speed fibre optic broadband, smart TV, and full gas central heating under your control. All on one level with parking right outside the door. Fully equipped to a high standard with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer and space for storing for pushchair or wheelchair etc. We have a range of mobility aids, and items for babies and toddlers, available at no additional charge for your use during your stay. Just ask for the list. The beds can be set up as twins or a zip linked superking. On booking guests are given a key code and have access at all times of day and night via the designated parking area just outside the door. We like to say hello and be here to assist you if necessary but we don't like to impose ourselves on our guests. We love having guests but know that they don't need to love us in return, they just need to love their stay here. :) Crowland is a small town with a village feel. Most people are surprised that everyone smiles and says hello in this area. It is perfectly situated for exploring the nearby city of Peterborough or visiting Burghley House or Sandringham. The north Norfolk coast is just under an hours drive, perfect for a day out. There are oodles of things to do and places to go for families all within a 20 min drive. I provide a comprehensive 'What shall we do today?' folder to help with ideas. There are many places to eat and takeaways who deliver too so no need to cook if you don't want to on your holiday. Being rural a car is the best way to get around although there is an hourly bus service into Peterborough and Spalding just a few minutes walk away particularly handy for those with bus passes. Several taxi services are available from Peterborough or Spalding . We live on site and,when not out working, can mostly be found toiling away in our private garden or looking after the fabric of the property. We love having children around and have 9 grandchildren of our own who love to visit occasionally during the school holidays. We also have a very friendly Lakeland Terrier dog who is good with children but don't allow him into any guest areas. We do not accept pets in Eastside.
