This beautiful, modern furnished flat located in the attic (80 square meters) was finished 2019 and is accessable through an seperate entrance. It is host to one kitchen wich has a fridge with included freezer, an E-stove with integrated an oven, a dishwasher and a adjoining storage room, livingroom, bathroom, bedroom and a additionall bed located in the attic. It also has a well furnished roof terrace. Our village is located in the heart of the “Holsteinischen Schweiz”. This region is marked by the last ice age wich left it crisscrossed with hills and lakes. About 5min away by bike, at the village´s own lake is a small bathing place. Benz is located within many hiking and biking paths, so you are able to start your trip trough our beautiful Ostholstein right away. Not far away (Malkwitz ,5km) there is the Ingenhof wich is a farm where you, depending on the season, are able to harvest all kinds of different fruits (for example strawberries and raspberries) yourself and wich has its own little cafe´. You should deffinetly pay Eutin, Malente and Plön a visit from wich you are able to take part in several trips through the sourrounding Lakes per boat. Both Plön and Eutin have the typicall smalltown flair, sourrounded by many lakes and each their own castle. Located right at the marketplace in Eutin is a small private brewery. 50Km away lies the city of Lübeck wich invites with its buildings in the brick-gothic artstile, its landmark – the “Holstentor”- and the famous Niederegger marzipan. Also about 50Km away lies the state capital Kiel with many shopping opportunities, the museum of shipping and historical ships at the Germaniahafen. Also viewable from Kiel is the marine memorial in Laboe, wich functions as a memorial for every soul lost to the sea of every nation. The submarine U-995 lies since 1971 right next to the memorial and is also visitable. You are able to visit the Baltic Sea either by car or you use the many biking paths and tracks across the fields on the way to catch a great view of the region´s natur. Eutin often invites to cultural festivals like the Blues Festival, the Kleinkunst Festival, the Eutiner Festspiele at the open-air theater or the Eutiner Stadtfest. Every year the regional Schleswig Holstein Festival is celebrated again too. Last but not least there is the famous Kieler Woche wich is celebrated in Kiel every year at the end of June. Other sightseeing destinations like the amusement park “Hansapark” in Sierksdorf (29Km), the waterski plant in Süsel (25 km) and several opportunitys for miniature golf, climbing gardens or fun baths. Our house is located hillside at the end of a street with view to the southwest. Therefor you are able to relax and enjoy your vacation far away from your daily stress and within natur itself. If you are interested to explore the region yourself with a bike, a lockable storage is available for you. Both Malente and Eutin are about 10km away. Here are also shops with all your daily needs. On the way there you are able to buy fresh eggs directly at a farm located at the street. To visit the Baltic Sea you only need a small trip of about 15km. In the price included are end-cleaning, bed linen, towels, parking spot, bike shed, Wifi, garden furniture and a grill. Benz is reachable from the south through the A1. The village is also reachable trough public transportation from both Eutin and Malente. The whole region is explorable either by foot or by bike because of the many biking and hiking paths.
