Ramblers Rest - a walkers haven
Ramblers Rest is a beautifully light and airy detached cabin - the perfect base for couples. Within walking distance to a great foodie pub and lots of countryside walks with access to the Pilgrims' Way. Enjoy a glass of something overlooking the olive tree and surroundings in your private garden and listen to the wildlife (our chickens will probably potter over as well!) Enjoy the quiet seculsion along with easy access to Faversham, Canterbury, Whitstable, or a trip to London on the fast train. Self catering cabin with a living space, separate master bedroom with a double bed, shower room and fully kitted kitchen. Guests have their own parking space, private access and enclosed garden. There is a communal drive with a private parking space for Ramblers Rest. The property has its own entrance and garden. Guests have full use of Ramblers Rests garden and property. We live in the cottage which is adjacent to the cabin. We are available within office hours and of course outside of office hours for any emergencies. Ramblers Rest is down a private track which runs alongside the Lees, part of the Lady Sondes Estate. The valley at the end of the track boasts amazing views and has numerous footpaths exploring the local area. There is a good public house across the Lees with a horse riding centre across the road from the pub. There is a daily bus to Faversham, which has a train station with direct links to Canterbury and the fast train to London. I am not sure we have mentioned the good walking routes around... but there are many! We have an electric gate at the entrance to the shared driveway. An electric fob to open the gate will be provided to guests for use, but we ask for a small deposit to cover the replacement in the unlikely event it is lost.
