Farlass is a pet friendly, spacious new build in the style of a barn conversion. Its large open plan kitchen living room has a high vaulted ceiling with exposed oak beams to give a warm country cottage feel. The living room has a 55" Smart TV and the kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences for cooking a feast. Bifold doors open onto beautiful unspoilt views of the surrounding farmland of the South Downs. The stone patio with seating and a BBQ allows you to take in the fabulous surroundings whilst enjoying a glass of English sparkling wine from one of our local vineyards. A corridor from the living room leads to two large en-suite bedrooms. The first has a Super King, or twin, Hypnos® bed and en-suite shower room. The master bedroom further down the corridor has a Super King, or twin, Hypnos® bed and a large en-suite bath and shower room. The quiet countryside all around means you’re sure to get a great nights sleep. Farlass Barn sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms. There are 2+ parking spaces on a driveway. Ground Floor - Kitchen: electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer-dryer - Dining area: table for 4-6 - Sitting room: sofa for 4, 55" Smart TV - Master Bedroom: sleeps 2, twin or super king size bed, en-suite with bath, walk-in shower and WC - Second Bedroom: sleeps 2, super king size bed, with en-suite shower and WC Outside - Patio with seating - BBQ - Acres of grounds - Warm water dog wash station - Croquet and other garden games - Parking for 2+ cars We’re lucky enough to live in one of Hampshire’s most scenic areas, in a county renowned for its rolling downs, chalk streams, beautiful beaches and varied history. Our luxurious self-catering holiday cottages enjoy a peaceful setting on the owners working farm in the hamlet of Ramsdean, within the heart of the magnificent South Downs National Park. Hampshire really does offer some of the best walking country in England, and there are many pub’s to stop by and enjoy some local food, beer and wine! Hampshire has a rich history. Named ‘Jane Austin country’, you can visit many of the national trust properties that inspired her novels, and even visit the house where she wrote them. The historical Naval Port of Portsmouth (within 30 minutes drive) has many museums tracing our history from Henry the VIII’s Mary Rose to the modern Royal Navy. The medieval city of Winchester, which is home to King Arthurs round table is also just a short drive away. Whether you’re looking for solitude in beautiful hill country, interested in wildlife watching or interested in the history, our self-catering holiday cottages are perfectly situated for all these and more. This cottage is part of Barrow Hill Barns, a converted farmyard into 8 luxury holiday cottages. The bedrooms have zip & link beds which can be made up as singles or double, please request which configuration is required. Garden and grounds are not enclosed so dogs and children must be supervised. The garden and grounds (10 acres) are shared with other properties. Please note that cots, highchairs and baby facilities must be requested before booking.
