Convenient Caterham Bolt Hole near Gatwick/London

We have 2 delightful, and newly-renovated double rooms plus shower room at semi-basement level. ‘Below Stairs’ has its own entrance so you have full privacy away from the busy family life going on upstairs! The accommodation is a perfect place to lay your head for a weekend, a work trip or accommodation around a wedding or event. There’s no kitchen although tea and coffee are provided and the nearby Caterham Cafe does a great breakfast! Costa, Cafe Nero and restaurants are also moments away. It’s quiet, clean (we strictly follow AirBnb guidelines), comfortable and connected!! One of the double rooms can be laid out as a single (or twin with the desk removed). We can provide a travel cot if requested. Both rooms have a television with Freeview, tea and coffee making facilities and that all important hand sanitiser! You have your own private entrance,and access to a small landing at ground level with space for your coats and shoes. Then there are two double rooms at semi-basement level (both with windows). And a shower room. We are always available to help our guests in the evenings, but we both work during the day. We have a key safe available outside the property and will share codes once bookings are imminent. We always change codes between bookings. If you ever need us, given social distancing guidelines, we recommend phoning us first!! If necessary we can always pop down with masks on!! Caterham is a safe and leafy suburb. It is located within the M25 so technically speaking thought of as Greater London. But also set into the North Downs so there is plenty of rural space just down the road. It’s an area with good amenities and wide roads with detached houses. Plenty of families and a good station for access to Gatwick, London and Brighton. We offer parking for one car. Cautious drivers may prefer to park in nearby streets as we have quite a steep drive! Caterham station is a 2 min walk. It’s 20-30 mins to Gatwick if connections are well timed, and the same to London Victoria or London Bridge. Taxis are available outside the station. Bikes are welcome. We are a busy family of five. Teacher and civil servant parents with 3 kids, 2 cats and a dog! Having just finished the renovations to ‘Below Stairs’ we are now working on the main house. There should not be any noise as structural work is complete but there is lots of painting going on and garden improvements planned!!
